Ian Ainsworth / Stewart Merry win Brimington MOT Centre Jackson Trophy Rally
Ian Ainsworth and Stewart Merry won the Brimington MOT Centre Jackson Trophy rally by just 3 seconds from Guy Robinson / Sasha Heriot. Steve Retchless / Sam Collis were third.

Final Instructions are now available for this weekend's Brimington MOT Centre Jackson Trophy Rally. The event starts from Lafarge at Hope. The event still requires marshals in order to be run successfully, if you can help please contact Richard French on 07976 286896.

Nigel Mummery Wins Bickerton Skoda Centenary Stages at RAF Cottesmore
Nigel Mummery & Fiona Scarrett (Ford Focus WRC) won the Bickerton Skoda Centenary Stages at new venue RAF Cottesmore. Late entry Mummery beat an excellent entry of almost 100 starters to claim victory by 15 seconds over the impressive Mark Jones & Christopher Brierley (BMW M3 E36). Stuart Deeley & Alistair Dodd (Lotus Europa) were third, a further 30 seconds behind.
In the Bickerton Skoda Centenary Junior Stages Chris Ingram & Michael Gilbey triumphed over Cameron Davies & Martyn Taylor by 11 seconds, with Matthew Thompson / Graham Raeburn just 2 seconds back in third.

Bickerton Skoda Centenary Stages
Event Launch
Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club are pleased to announce the Bickerton Skoda Centenary Stages 2011, taking place at new venue RAF Cottesmore on 21st August.
Regulations are now available for the event, and entries are being accepted. The event is a round of the Roadrunner Phoenix Awards ANEMMC Rally Championship, ANWCC Stage Rally Championship, AWMMC Heart of England Rally Championship, Rainworth Skoda EMAMC Multi-Use Rally Championship and Formula 1000 Junior Championship.

Sparrow / Everard win Help for Heroes Hallamshire Stages - Final Results Now Online
James Sparrow and David Everard won today's Help for Heroes Hallamshire Stages at RAF Barkston Heath. After reigning MSA Asphalt Rally Champion Damian Cole retired after a puncture on his Ford Focus WRC the battle was between Sparrow/Everard and Stuart Deeley / Alistair Dodd in the Lotus Europa, but a failed ball joint on SS7 left Sparrow in front. The Subaru Impreza WRC driver (a car which previously won Rally China with Colin McRae) eventually clinched the win by 31 seconds from Mark Jones and Christopher Brierley in their BMW M3 Coupe. All the awards were presented by representatives from Help for Heroes, who were most grateful for the contribution that the event has made. Final Results are now available.

Help for Heroes Hallamshire Stages
Final Instructions Now Available
Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club have published the Final Instructions and seeded entry list for this weekend's Help for Heroes Hallamshire Stages.
The event, held at RAF Barkston Heath has secured an entry of over 50 cars, including reigning MSA Asphalt Rally Champion Damian Cole in his Ford Focus WRC.

Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club are proud to announce that we are dedicating our first stage rally of 2011 to an extremely worthwhile cause. The Help for Heroes Hallamshire Stages, in association with Rainworth Skoda & Jordan Road Surfacing takes palce at RAF Barkston Heath on 1st May, and all profit from the event will go to Help for Heroes.

Alexander Calder Financial Challenge / President's Championship 2011 Starts Next Week
Next week sees the start of the 2011 Alexander Calder Financial Challenge and Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club President's Championship. It takes place in the form of a Scatter organised by Lindholme Motor Sports Club, on 23rd February.
Start & finish - the Dodworth Valley, M1 J37; MR 111/32050595
Signing on – 19.30pm to 20.15
First car starts at 20:00 hrs
Length of event 2 hrs
Entry fee £6 per car.
Required - Landranger Map 111 (any series); Romer and Torch.
Entries open now, and will close on the day of the event. MSA motor insurance will be available on the night for those who require it.
