Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club are proud to present The Jackson Trophy Rally. The event offers a 115 mile route, including approximately 3 miles of smooth whites. The navigation will be straight forward. All in all, another no-nonsense rally. As previously, there is a good proportion of competitive mileage on both classic and some little-used roads predominantly in South and West Yorkshire. The timing is sensible, with adequate recovery sections for all competitors, whilst attempting to maintain a good ‘flow’ for the event. The route is also very marshal friendly and a hearty goodie bag will be supplied to all teams. We hope to meet all previous competitors, along with some new crews who may not get the chance to enjoy these roads on a regular basis, like we do!
The Jackson Trophy returns to its traditional June date this year, and moves to a new start and finish venue too: Sheffield Tigers RUFC. Event regulations and entry forms for the June 17th-18th event, as well as information for marshals, can be found below.
The Jackson Trophy Rally needs your help in order to run succesfully. If you can help by marshalling on the event please contact Matt Screaton on 07894 863179. Marshals will get a complimentary breakfast if marshalling two controls, and a goody bag is available for all marshals. Signing On opens for marshals at approx 20:15 on June 17th. Please see the venue plan in the finals.
