The Alexander Calder Financial Challenge is a new inter-club challenge being organised in a bid to encourage higher turnouts for club events. We have joined forces with Lindholme Motor Sports Club, Rotherham & District Motor Club and Worksop Motor Club, and will in turn organise events open to members of the four clubs. These events will form Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club's President's Championship in 2010.

Each club has also provided a co-ordinator, who is responsible for communications between his fellow challenge organisers and his own club. In our case, this is our President,Tony Jones, whose contact details can be found below.

The points system is as follows:

1st - 8 points
2nd - 7 points
3rd - 6 points
4th - 5 points
5th - 4 points
6th - 3 points
7th - 2 points
8th - 1 point

At the end of the year the club with the highest number of points will be declared the winners, and in the event of a tie, the club scoring the highest number of points will be used to determine the result. At the end of the season the following prizes will be up for grabs:

1st Club - £100
2nd Club - £75
3rd Club - £50
4th Club - £25
