The High Peak Trial

High Peak Trial

One of our most historic events, the High Peak Trial. This year held at Lawn Farm, Shottle, the event is a round of the MSA and BTRDA Sporting Car Trial Championships.


Event Information

The Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club are promoting a National B permit Sporting Car Trial on Sunday 30th October 2005 at Lawn Farm, Shottle, Derbyshire. Map Reference: 119/302502. The event is a round of the National MSA SCT and BTRDA Championships.

The event is open to all fully elected members of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club and contenders of the National MSA or BTRDA SCT Championships and members of the Northern Phoenix Trial Car Club who hold an RAC competition licence valid for the event and a club membership card.

The start will be Lawn Farm, Shottle, Derbyshire. Map Reference: 119/302502. There will be at least 24 tests on private land and details of the sections will be issued at signing-on. The entry will be split into groups starting at different hills and the event will consist of three classes as follows:

  • Red: Drivers who have won outright any two 'BTRDA Championship' trials in the previous five seasons
  • Blue: Drivers not qualifying for Red, but who have finished in 12th place or above in any Championship trial with a minimum of 20 finishers in the previous five seasons.
  • Green: Drivers not qualifying for Red or Blue

The entry fee is £28.00 including RAC levy and insurance and all entries must be made on the official entry form (see full regs and entry form links below) and be accompanied by the appropriate fee. Cheques must be crossed and made payable to "Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club ".
